The Great Debate Blogathon!

Blogathon PosterI’ve been on WordPress for almost two years. I think it’s time I co-hosted my first blogathon. My partner in crime is dear Aurora at Citizen Screenings. We are looking to get those debate skills going with The Great Debate Blogathon.

Here’s how it’ll work:

Choose a film and argue for or against it with another blogger taking the other side of the argument. That’s it!

To get you started we’ve compiled a list of films that we feel are either thought of fondly or negatively.  You can choose any one of the films included – or another of your choosing.  If you still have a difficult time deciding on which film to debate whether for or against you might want to check the comments left by other bloggers – you may be interested in the counter-argument to one of those choices.

Let us know if you’d like to join us by:

Leaving a comment with your choice on either host site or:

The event is scheduled for September 13th and 14th so all posts should be published by the 12th to ensure each side has an equal say when we promote the entries
Please include contact information so we can include a link when promoting
We’d appreciate you including one of the event banners provided in this post on your site and blogathon entry post to help promote the event
Have fun!
