This is the film where we finally get to discover Wolverine’s origins, which is obvious by the title. Some of these revelations are good. Some are not. Contrary to popular opinion, though, I don’t think this is that bad. It’s not great, but it’s not the crapstorm everybody makes it out to be.

According to the above article, Hugh Jackman has not signed on for a third solo-Wolverine film. This contradicts statements made a month or so ago that said he was definitely doing a third.

Yesterday, it was announced that Hugh Jackman will be returning to the role of Wolverine for at least one more outing, this time another Wolverine solo feature that is set to be directed by The Wolverine (2013) director James Mangold. This is good news considering Jackman’s recent comments that he is unsure how much longer he will play the character due to his ever increasing age (he’ll be 49 when the next Wolverine will be released in 2017) and the grueling diet and exercise program.
